SOMETHING TO REMEMBER
Xoliswa Kakana

Dearest sisters,

A different take on "our online discussions" I know I have been unusually silent, must admit to be one rare species amongst women, one who has immense difficulty to multitasking ( Keeping in touch and trying to re-entrench myself in the hearts of my work colleagues and family, for they had all decided that after all the world does not stop with her absence). Just thought I should bring in this element, and I think we should get to know each other’s countries and communities better, understand the days and issues that have meanings to our hearts, and share the journeys of our communities.

On 16th June 1976 something happened in Soweto, and in the South African struggle, that shifted our march towards freedom...

We reflect on this important day this Friday

Some pictures to reflect on...

I love you all, and its great being part of this family… I leave for Germany ion July 2 and will see the final in Berlin on July 9… thanks to Avaya and my mentor…

Xoli
